Tuntum means black in Twi, my mother tongue.

This series is a love letter to Black women. It focuses on how we are with each other, and what is passed between us without being taught. These are ways of being you learn through presence, through closeness, through time.

Figures lean on each other and hold each other. The closeness carries tenderness, but also weight.

Black is used throughout as a ground. Not as absence, but as something to stand on.
